Using Productivity Suite

Hello readers....

This time, I will tell and describe one of my courses, namely Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in Education. This course generally teaches us how to use technology in learning English and using technology to learn English. Very fun and interesting.

Below I will explain one of the chapters we studied, namely “Using Productivity Suite”.

What skills I have learned from that activity?

Absolutely I can obtain many things from that activity. From the learning material using Productivity Suite we can use the Microsoft office application, for example Microsoft word and Microsoft power point. In addition, we were also introduced to similar applications such as google office, WPS, Prezy and Canva. Then we were also able to take advantage of the features in it to help us learn English. For example the thesaurus and grammar check on Microsoft Word. Then, we are also able to use the features in Microsoft power points like adding transition and animation and so on.

That is the result of the presentation that we made using Microsoft 2013 power point. What do you think? yes you are right, I am working on this project in groups. My group consists of 3 people. In the process of making the presentation, I served as an editor and content manager. I am the person who edited the presentation slides, added animation, transitions and font styles. I also help my friends find websites or applications that can be used to learn English.

If you ask me, does this technology helps me in learning English? I would say, Of course.

From learning using productivity suit we can improve grammar and use more advance vocabulary using Microsoft word. Thesaurus really helps me in this case. Besides that, we are also familiar with various applications that can help us learn English. For example Duolingo, Helloenglish and others. Our writing ability also increases because we can check our grammar through the grammarly website.

I studied at MIN 2 in Tanjung Jabung Timur district. My school and my home are very close. I usually went to school by bike or my father drove me.
