Online Communication

Hello guys ..😊😆

On this occasion, I will discuss one of the chapters I have learned before, namely "Online Communication". I was very exciting to take this course because we learned many new things that are very useful, especially for improving our English skills.

What are they?

First, from the learning we learned about how to use e-mail and write a correct e-mail. My teacher also taught me some special skills before using e-mail, namely:

1. Communication skills, we were taught netiquette and some mistakes in writing that were considered rude. Below is the video from our moodle you can watch which is talking about netiquette. First video and second video

2. Language skills, through email we learn to write correct emails based on the rules of grammar and vocabulary.

3. Technical skills, in this case, we were taught several techniques in using e-mail so that we are able to use signature, distinguish TO, CC and BCC, attach document and link and writing subject.

Internet safety is also important. Therefore just watch this video to know what we can do and not do to protect our privacy.

As an assignment, our teacher asks us to write an essay from several topics. I chose the topic about "Advantages and Disadvantages of Using E-mail / Chat for your English Language Learning". We were also asked to CC the email to our instructors and two of our classmates. Then, we must attach the summary that we have typed using microsoft word. After that, we use "ICT4E: Writing and E-mail" as the subject of our e-mail. You can see the results of my work in the picture below.

Then, how does this technology help me in learning English? Through this activity, I was able to write e-mails correctly, use formal vocabulary, and apply grammar rules properly.

I studied at MIN 2 in Tanjung Jabung Timur district. My school and my home are very close. I usually went to school by bike or my father drove me.
