My Education Story

assalamu'alaikum.. 😃

My name is Riris Handayani. I come from Tanjung Jabung Timur district. I signed up in elementary school when I was 5 years old. I studied at MIN 2 in Tanjung Jabung Timur district. My school and my home are very close. I usually went to school by bike or my father drove me. When I was in grade 1 to 4, I still did not understand the purpose of my education. I just went to school to played with friends. Then, my father always gave me a motivation and he promised that he would give me a bycicle if I can be the 1^stwinner in my class. After that, I studied hard and firstly I got 3^rdwinner in my class but my father still gave me a bycicle. In the next year, my father promised again that he would give me a new bycicle if I can be the 1^stwinner. Next, I studied more dilligently and finally I got the 1^stwinner in my class. At that time, I also participated in many competitions such as speech competitions, poetry, short story, storytelling, and so on. My highest achievment is joining the district poetry competitons.

Since often joining the competitions in elementary school, I became challenged to attend various competitions in Junior High School. I studied at SMP N 17 in Tanjung Jabung Timur as well. When I was in junior high school, I often participated in storytelling competitions, speech contest, and writing scientific papers. I ever be the 2^ndwinner of speech contest twice. But, the most impressive thing for me was followed the scientific writing contest in the province in world water day. This is my first time I was slept in hotel. I was very happy even though I did not win.

For senior high school, I studied in SMA N 8 still in nTanjung Jabung Timur district. When I was in senior high school I have many champions. I was a champion with the highest score in my school twice, when I was in grade 1 and 2. I once be the 1^st winner of speech contest in the district. But, the most proud event for me was National School Debate Competition in Palu 2 years ago. I have been following the debate since I was grade1. firstly I was failed. Then, I tried it again next year, I was very grateful because I have opportunity to represent Jambi. I am very glad that it was my first time I went to another place by plane.

Today, I am studying in Jambi University. I took english study program as my subject. I was very grateful because I can continue my education without having to pay. I got a scholarship from goverment, namely Bidikmisi. My last award was as the 1^stwinner of speech contest in ICE DAY last week. I think this is my first step, so I should keep trying to get into International event.

TANJUNG KARANG BEACH

😊 assalamu'alaikum..😇 Tanjung Karang Beach is located in Donggala district, Central Sulawesi. To get there, we must take time for approximately one hour from Palu. Riris Handayani My name is Riris Handayani. I come from Tanjung Jabung Timur district. I was born in 7 th March 2000 or 18 years ago. I am the fisrt child in my family. Actually I have two sisters, but my oldest sister has passed away along time ago before I was born. Now, I only have a sister, her name is Rara Kusuma. She is 11 years old last November. My father work as a farmer. He process our oil palm plantation and rubber plantation. His name is Agung Prihanto and he is 55 years old. Then, my mother helps my father in the garden.
