Internet as Learning Resources

Hello everyone,,,😊😄

How are you? Today I will present a very interesting topic, namely "Internet as Learning Resources" I'm sure you have ever used the internet to learn. Internet provides a lot of information and that can be good or bad then correct or incorrect information. Therefore, we need some skills to work with the internet effectively.

From these learning activities, I get an information literacy skill. I can access and evaluate websites and use and manage information. We also learn about internet searching tips, one of which is using vs for comparison. Through these tips, now we can find information precisely and quickly. The most important thing, we can evaluate a website so we can choose a good website for learning. Then we were also introduced to several learning websites, such as VOA Learning English, British Council, ESL Cyber Listening Lab. Beside that, we can also used some website even though they are not specifically intended for English language learning. For example. The Jakarta Post and Youtube.

We did our assignment in groups, my group consisted of 3 people. In this case, I act as the content manager. I am the person who compiled the content in the report consisting of 6 contents and made the explanation, namely authority, purpose, coverage, currency, objectivity and accuracy.

Beside that, I also annotated some websites using Diigo. Just click this to see the result.

This task really helped me improve my writing skills. By writing a report I can practice writing using Microsoft Word. I can also learn grammar through the website that we evaluated and several websites from my friends.

TANJUNG KARANG BEACH
