Technology for Learning Vocabulary

How is the weather at your place? I hope that whatever your weather you are still happy. On this opportunity, I will discuss our material I have studied before. It is about "Technology for Learning Vocabulary". As we know, vocabulary is an important part of learning languages, including English. Without vocabulary we cannot convey our ideas and opinions.

From this chapter, I learned to use technology for vocabulary learning. We use one website called Quizlet. Quizlet is very interesting. Through Quizlet we can create our own study set. In addition, we were also introduced to several websites that can help us learn vocabulary. First, we use the COCA (Corpus of Contemporary American English). Through this website, you can learn about collocation, frequency and many more. Second, Lingro is a very interesting dictionary-based website. Through Lingro, you do not need to exit the article page that you are reading, you simply press the vocabulary that you do not know and Lingro will help you.

As my assignment, I have to pick 20 words from the Academic Word List. Then, make our study list on Quizlet. Below is a study set that I made myself that have been embedded for you. You can play some games below. Hope you are enjoy.

Does this technology help you learn English? Of course.

Through Quizlet I can learn vocabulary well. Know the pronunciation, use, meaning, and synonym and antonym. Some of the games above helped me remember the list of vocabulary well, so I could remember it longer. several other websites such as COCA and Lingro are also very effective for learning vocabulary. COCA helps me learn grammar and Lingro makes things easier.
